How to read your result

The annual net figure is your total take-home after all deductions. The monthly figure is the annual net divided by 12 — this is what you would expect to see credited to your bank account each month from a salaried job.

Note that your first month's pay in a new job may be lower because Revenue may not have issued your tax credits to your new employer yet. In this case you may be temporarily on the emergency tax basis. You can fix this through myAccount on Revenue.ie.
